Exotic Bites (Raw/Vegan)



1 oz Red Melon Seeds
1T  Chia Seeds
6-7 Pitted Dates
1/4C Water
1/4C Dried Unsweetened Papaya
1/4C Roasted Sweet Potato
2T Light Blue Agave
2T Coconut Flour


In a VitaMix, grind 1 oz (1/4 package; was about 1/2C) Unhulled Red Melon Seeds into a flour. Add 1T Chia Seeds and pulse to combine. Transfer to a large bowl. Soak (or boil) 6-7 Pitted Dates until soft. Blend the dates in the VitaMix with 1/4C water to form a paste. Pour into bowl. Add 1/4C Dried Unsweetened Papaya (I dehydrated my own), 1/4C Roasted Sweet Potato, 2T Light Blue Agave, 2T Coconut Flour and stir until well combined. Roll into balls and freeze. This is quite possibly the most interesting thing I’ve ever come up with.

Makes: 12 balls

Serving Size: 1 ball
